There have been DC Comics for seventy-five years. During which they have produced more than 40,000 comic books. To celebrate the event the publisher Taschen have produced a new history of the company and all it’s works. 75 Years of DC comics -The Art of Modern Mythmaking. by Paul Levitz. It is in hard cover, has five year by year timeline fold-outs each four foot long, 720 pages, more than 2,000 images from the comics and their spin-offs.  And is big - 29 x 39.5cm (11.4 x 15.5 in.)
I have not seen it, only the nine page preview in the Taschen catalogue but if anyone is struggling to decide what to get me for Christmas I thought this might help.
Did I mention the price? £150, $200 or E135.
Taschen do much less expensive stuff and if you like books of images of all descriptions are worth checking out.
