think pigs for New Year are German tradition. One I saw actually had the pig with with knife and fork stuck in it so I guess it symbolises good food, good fortune.
Mushrooms I don't know. Do you think they are of the magic variety?

Hi Arthur,
Good to have an insight into another culture's take on a common theme, the pigs are an intriguing variation - obviously not good fortune for the one with the knife and fork stuck in it's head.
I'd say going by the nature of the image itself, those mushrooms are highly likely magic!

Hi Arthur,
That pigs and toadstools image has to be the most bizarre yet appropriate New Year card I've ever seen!
Wishing you a good one,
Andy.
