Me and Batman

Batman and I have a lot in common. Well not a lot, but we are the same age. He, being a fictional character, has the advantage of being ageless which unfortunately I do not. Batman first appeared in an edition of Detective Comics in May 1939, the following month I appeared in Kinfauns Road, Hornchurch.
A restored edition of that  historic comic is to be auctioned by Dominic Winter auctioneers, in South Cerney, Gloucestershire on December 16th. It is expected to fetch £25,000.
The auction will also include a first issue of Superman, estimated to bring £15,000.
