Creator of 'Bash Street Kids', 'Minnie the Minx', Willy the Kid, and many other comic characters for comics and for books of his own.
Inducted into the British Comic Awards Hall of Fame in 2013.
In 1978 had his memoir of his life in comics, ' A Very Funny Business: 40 Years Of Comics' published by. Gerald Duckworth/
