The sense of threat on Feldspar is very palpable Arthur; great 6th panel! Also Alexiares is a great creation, loving this accumulation of characters. An arboretum, the perfect setting...

Hullo Andy,
'Alexiares in the arboretum' was a line that made me smile. I'm guessing she will reappear. Making it up week from week is an amusing ( for me) way to work but it does create problems. Getting interested in the next bit before I have really finished the one I am working on for instance.
Thanks for the support.
Arthur

I think it just makes them neat and episodic while you certainly keep pushing the boundaries with characters and locations - I can see why you might already be involved in the next part! By the way do you know what happened to Harry North?
All the Best,
Andy.

Hullo Andy,
lost track of Harry long ago when he went to New York. Have a suspicion he went to France after that but don't quote me.
Best,
Arthur

Thanks for that Arthur, I remember his artwork getting even quirkier towards the end of his work on the Doctor at Sea/On the Go strips; I've always preferred the more lyrical European style of inking over the slicker US superhero stuff (still admirable of course!) I think your work successfully straddles the two bringing a welcome extra depth to the Batman and X-Men strips. Back to Harry and On the Buses, Bob Grant (who played Jack the conductor) lived in a neighbouring village, used to see him in the supermarket etc., the poor guy committed suicide a few yesr ago due to lack of work and peaking too soon in his career, a real shame.

Harry is a true original. I really admired his work and and the cheeky liberties he took with strip.
Sad story about Bob Grant.
Best,
Arthur
